Language Courses

Language study enhances the East Asian Studies concentration at Harvard. Most concentrators will spend 2-3 years (4-6 half-courses) on their language of choice. Students whose Primary Concentration is in another department and who select the "area" track, however, are not required to complete any language courses. Similarly, Secondary Fielders in EAS are not required to take any language courses, but may count up to two toward their requirements if desired.
